Monday 20 Jul 2020 New Muslims on Virtual Tours to Emirati Landmarks New reverts and stakeholders avail themselves of the virtual visits to know more about Emirati culture and most significant landmarks
As part of its endeavors to improve communication with its new revert students and persons interested in Islamic culture, Zayed House for Islamic Culture (ZHIC) organized a number of virtual visits to the UAE landmarks in conjunction with the remote learning and work requirements stipulated by the government precautionary measures for social distancing . The visits were a good chance for the new Muslims to know about Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque through respective guides explaining in English to the 180 people part of the program. The virtual visitors closely viewed the architectural aesthetics of the mosque, which is one of the biggest of its kind in the world, known as a tourist attraction for its unique Islamic architecture . The virtual tour took the participants further to the Founder’s Memorial in Abu Dhabi. As they knew about the monument built as a permanent national honoring to the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan to celebrate his inspiring legacy and noble values as the founder of the UAE .
