Sustainable works are of the modern humankind practices that guarantee continuity of the foundations of good life for existing communities and future generations in all aspects of life; be it environment, economic, social, cultural or religious . The required sustainability to bring happiness to humankind cannot be complete without comprising the aforementioned dimensions and scopes . As religion is an integral part of every community’s social and cultural identity, official institutions have cared for it and found ways to make tolerance sustainable therein to bring up a generation cooperative enough for communities development whatever various their convictions .Thus, of the most invaluable cultural gains for humans is realization of tolerance amongst cultural, religious and ethnic communities. Despite the challenge faced in as to how to uphold such values and render them sustainable in community conscience translated not only in their everyday life, but also in their future generation in conjunction with the various and ever changing social needs . The sustainability of tolerance in global terms first came into being in the environmental development report filed to the UN in 1987 . Followed by respective development led by studies and applications contributed to further global dissemination of the concept as known today .  Moreover, the tolerance declaration of principles adopted by the general conference of the UNESCO in its 28th session in Paris, 16 Nov. 1995 played a major role in establishing the concept of tolerance as witnessed today. For it clearly called for publicizing tolerance and its institution for more sustainability. Besides its emphasis on the necessity of accepting and appreciating the other through communication and openness without direct or indirect denigration to any culture, belief or practices emanating from religion or personal convictions . The significance of tolerance sustainability lies in the care for vital human resources worthy of upkeep for further development to future generations. However, the implementation of such a project necessitates establishing essential human thought elements pertinent to social culture and legislature conducive to integration, coexistence and peace sought after .
