Miscellaneous Events on Zayed Humanitarian Work DAy
Zayed House for Islamic Culture (ZHIC) celebrated Zayed Humanitarian Work Day in commemoration of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may God rest his soul in peace). ZHIC organized a number of activities and initiatives on the occasion, which reflected values of giving and goodness unique to the UAE leadership and people. The event included a lecture entitled ‘Humanitarian Dimension in Sheikh Zayed Foreign Policy’ delivered in cooperation with the National Archive and Dar Zayed for Family Care. Added to an annual initiative theming giving and love, during which ZHIC staff and community members offer gifts to restrained families of new reverts. The event ended with a lecture in English entitled ‘Zayed: Sustainable Humanitarian Giving’.
