Summer program 'With Values We Rise' attracted 26 kids
The New Muslim Section of Zayed House for Islamic Culture (ZHIC) ended its summer program titled ‘With Values We Rise’, which ran for ten days attracted 26 participant children aging between 6-15 years. The initiative came to highlight Islamic culture, principles of Islamic religion and to introduce traditions and customs inherited from ancestors in line with Islam. In addition to underlining the role of reading and knowledge for new Muslim and ZHIC staff kids along with kids from Social Welfare and Minor Affairs Foundation. The program included several cultural and recreative activities; notably Qur’an recitation and learning of Nurani proper approach to cram the alphabets. Besides, short story lessons in Arabic and English and several lectures run in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority and Zayed Central Library.
