Flag Day is A National Occasion to Renew Allegiance, Dr. Nedal al Tinaiji

Dr. Nedal al Tinaiji, Zayed House for Islamic Culture (ZHIC) General Director emphasized that Flag Day was a cherished national occasion on which the UAE people and residents alike renew allegiance and belonging to the home in response to the call by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai (may God save him). Who previously stressed that the ‘UAE would celebrate Flag Day in its Year of the Fiftieth in the 3rd of Nov. as the Flag has been the state symbol of sovereignty and unity for the last fifty years and will be for the same to establish belonging, loyalty and love to the UAE territory’. In this regard, Dr. al Tinaiji related that the Flag Day would embody the uppermost feelings of national unity and indigenous loyalty recalling the early days of the federation founding fathers who not only laid the foundation of a solid state, but also persevered to unify the native under one banner. Moreover, Dr. al Tinaiji accentuated that the national occasion was an opportunity to reflect on the transformation reached by the UAE during the past fifty years. So that’ we put even more effort in the coming years to propel more sustainable development for such a global destination
